Welcome winter with a cup of coffee

In winter when you wake up in the morning under the blanket, most of your mind can demand only one thing, which is a cup of hot coffee. Coffee is the most popular hot drink throughout the world, especially in winter.

Starting your day with a cup of coffee helps to boost up your energy level. Coffee is also a rich source of antioxidants, which helps to prevent a headache.

Some studies have also shown that it works as a fat burning supplement and helps to control Type-II diabetes. Caffeine is a natural stimulant, which helps to keep our brain and central nervous system active. According to statistics, 2.25 billion cups of coffee consumed throughout the world.    

Now, let us take a glance at some hot coffee that is famous throughout the world:

  • Driporfiltered: Roasted or ground coffee put into the filter and hot water passed through the filter. Water absorbs the flavor and essence of caffeine. Now your hot flavored coffee is completely ready to serve.     

  • Espresso: Espresso is prepared from finely ground coffee mixed with boiling water under high pressure. Espresso is the raw form of coffee. Coffee addicts often take it as a shot. During pregnancy, espresso is not recommended.

  • Cappuccino: Cappuccino is a good friend of all age group people throughout the world. We all spend a lot of time with a cup of cappuccino. A three-step process makes the drink so lovable. First, you need to take a shot of espresso, second a shot of steamed milk and lastly add milk foam. Now it`s done.

  • Coffee with milk: This type of coffee very popular in India. To brew this type of coffee you need to take one teaspoon ground coffee and mix it with one cup of boiled steamed milk, and your coffee is done. You can add sugar if you need some calories.   

  • Irish coffee: Irish coffee brewed with hot coffee, sugar, Irish whiskey and topped with thick-layered cream. It is popular as a cocktail.  

 

  • Caffè Americano: This type of coffee is brewed with hot water and one or two shots of espresso. The strength of the coffee depends on the number of shots.

According to BritishMedicalJournal article, people can consume 3-4 cups of coffee daily. In a special condition like pregnancy, moderate consumption (2-3 cups) of coffee is preferred to avoid complications.

So, if you want to boost your energy this winter, coffee is always with you for support as a best friend.
